About

A study studio for Solana DeFi language

Synap Flow Hub exists because protocol documentation and wallet interfaces use overlapping terms that rarely get defined in one place. We built a physical library and a set of guided sessions so UK learners can read screens without guessing.

Bookshelves in a quiet reading room

Registered business

Synap Flow Hub Ltd is the official registered business name. We were established in 2021 and operate from our studio at Caledonian Road, Edinburgh. What began as informal reading circles among local developers and finance graduates became a structured curriculum when repeat attendees asked for printed glossaries they could take home.

Our history

In 2021, founder Fiona MacLeod hosted the first open table sessions at a borrowed desk near Haymarket, walking through Raydium pool labels for six attendees. By 2022, demand for private team workshops led to registering Synap Flow Hub Ltd and leasing the current Caledonian Road space — a single room with shelves of protocol printouts, a projector, and tables sized for six.

We added protocol overview sessions in 2023 when readers named specific programmes — Marinade, Jupiter, Kamino — and wanted architecture sketches before reading security disclosures. The glossary page online mirrors the studio index cards, updated when interfaces change labels.

Who teaches

Fiona MacLeod leads most intensives. She previously wrote internal training notes for a Edinburgh fintech compliance team and prefers paper diagrams to slide decks. Visiting researchers occasionally co-facilitate when a protocol update warrants a second perspective; we announce guests on the booking confirmation.

How we work with you

Sessions stay educational. We define terms, read public documentation, and map UI labels to contract roles. We do not touch your seed phrase, execute swaps, or comment on whether a position suits your finances. That boundary keeps the room calm and useful for mixed experience levels.
